PASOQ Advanced Technicians Certificate (2 days)
The PASOQ Advanced Technicians Certificate indicates that the holder of a current Technicians Certificate has demonstrated an advanced technical knowledge and understanding of Pool Plant Operation beyond the level of competency required for the Technicians Certificate
It recognises that the theoretical knowledge gained on the course is then firmly underpinned by technical skills and expertise gained in a plant room environment. It is awarded following attendance on a course and the submission of an assignment within eight weeks of the course end. The first part of the assignment will be work based and of a technical nature. The second part of assignment will be to produce a report on a given subject. It will involve a element of research were the candidate has to demonstrate that they have been able to access and interpret information and then use it to reach a conclusion or make a recommendation.
